Design Change

It should be obvious, but I changed the design of the site, just a bit. I finally found something I like more than what I had to start with, and went with it. Let me know what you think, and be sure to check the awesome tag cloud at the bottom of the page, it’s awesome. The theme came from Elegant Themes, and is a great theme in my opinion. Check out my review of their themes on my other blog, coreyonrails.
In other news, tomorrow is the Fall Classic at 106 Race Park. I’m pretty excited for the race and can’t wait to see what we get for a turnout. The weather looks great, the sun should be coming out around the time we are all practicing and getting ready, should be just under 70 for the day. Hopefully we’ll get a nice turnout, but even if it’s just the NEAR Club folks, it’ll be a great time, as always. Scott and I did some work on the track Wednesday, Scott also moved the speakers to a better position, no more going deaf when standing to the right of the pit.
I also got a new radio for the truck a nice new Spektrum DX3R. Should give me the last bit of control I feel like I am missing, and it’s a damn nice radio. I was kind of torn between the DX3S and the R, but the R won out. It was more expensive so anyone who knows me well, will not be surprised I bought that one.
Tonight the plan is to charge batteries, rebuild the truck, put in the new radio, and get everything else ready for tomorrow. It’ll be a busy morning, Jess also has a craft show tomorrow up the street, so I need to run her stuff over there in the morning too.
