Happy Holidays and stuff

I figured I’d throw out a little update, there isn’t much going on to update with though. Obviously Christmas and Hanukkah have come and gone, and we are in the last week of 2009. Hopefully everyone got some nice RC stuff in their stockings, under the tree, near the menorah, or whatever you do for gifts, hopefully something. We don’t do any decorating for the holiday’s. We had a real tree out first year here, and a tiny fake one the next year, now two years running we have not done either. So we hide out gifts, not even wrapped, somewhere. I got Jess a couple sewing books, how to make stuffed things, probably to use as pet toys, or whatever. I also got her a gift card for Delia’s, and a makeup organizer thing. Jess gave me the first 5 books from the Sookie Stackhouse series. Those are the books the HBO show True Blood is based on for anyone who watches, or was curious what the hell I am talking about. We also got stuff down at my Dad’s and from Jess’ grandparents. Mostly gift cards or money. A pair of mugs for Jess and I, and what is becoming a tradition my niece’s school picture for the year.

Not much else is going on around here. Winter time is not my favorite time of year by a long shot, so it’s pretty much chill time for me. With all the time inside now I have gone back to reading more, finished a couple books already. I have a long list of books to read through already here, with more on the way. I also got a Barnes and Noble gift card to buy even more books. I just need to find some more to put in my list I think. I also started working on my other hobby again Warhammer 40k. It’s a miniatures war game, yes I know I am a geek. I am probably more of a geek than most of you will ever know, hehe. I started painting some of the stuff I have lying around to expand the army. New updates for my army come out next month finally with some new units too, so that’s always fun. I’ll post up some pics of my army once I get the current model painted. Not sure how I’ll split my time between both racing and 40k, but I’ll find a way to work them out. The 40k thing makes a great winter hobby as its inside, and racing is obviously more of a warm weather thing.

Well I am going to go back tor reading or something, have a good New Year’s Eve everyone, and I’ll see you guys at the track.
